Millom made it two straight victories with
this comfortable success over struggling Lock Lane.
A Warren Lloyd try in the sixth minute gave Millom a great start,
before Lock Lane hinted at an upset with a try from Andy Townsend
off the back of some good running from Nathan Pincher.
But the deadlock was finally broken in the 29th minute when Graham
Lupton grabbed a try and two Paul Evans penalty goals edged Millom
12-4 in front for half-time.
Lock Lane had big efforts from Richard Potts and Martin Croswell,
but once Nathan Mossop had powered in for a 49th minute try after
good work from Paul Carter, it was Millom all the way and Steve
Dawson, Mossop again and the outstanding Dawson with his second
completed the Millom try tally as Evans finished with five goals.
